Batteries not required, such the perfect toy.  Requires you to be outside and run around.  Saw them attached to surfboards and skateboards...I can only imagine the core strength to do that.  Kites look beautiful flying in the air...the ones I saw today looked like snowflakes which was ironic because today was a pleasant, summer like day.  I wonder how much kites cost, are the tangled up strings and frustration worth the serenity of them gliding through the air.
