So tiny is the area the driver has to sit, I guess it is a profession for short people.  Similar requirements are needed to be a horse jockey.  These shorter people, especially males, have to look at this as a bright side to their “shortcomings”.  If they are successful at these jobs it can be very lucrative.  That being said I don’t think my future, rich husband will be short.  I’m attracted to taller guys, jockeys and race car driver need not apply.
