Fresh Coat of Paint

Anything but the same colour over again.  I mean paint is something that can “easily” be changed, so why do the same colour.  This is the reason why my second coat always sucks.  I rush it because I am no longer excited about the new colour.  I have no idea how painters paint white wall, after white wall.  I guess the pay is good?  I bet they also have better equipment than my dad.  I think I used the same brush six years ago.  I guess with 4 kids you save money where you can.
