London Bridge

The song comes to mind every time I see the bridge.  Since the Olympics have been on, the song has been on repeat in my head.  I know, lucky me.  The words don’t even make sense.  “London Bridge is falling down, my fair lady oh”.  What is the lady to do?  Why is the bridge falling?  Why is song upbeat, when the city’s symbol is crashing to pieces?  Who writes these songs?  Better still, who condones and promotes this morbid tune  Make is stop!
