A quintessential Canadian image.  I think all kids should paddle a canoe at least once.  To do this they would have to spend some time outside.  Outdoor time is super important, both in good and bad weather.  Perhaps not paddling in bad weather, but dancing in the rain...so much fun.  Bring on the rain.
