Such a happy flower, reminds me of summer.  I find that buying cut sunflowers is a good investment, unlike other cut flowers, these ones last.  They do not die right away.  I don’t think you can get them in the winter, but even if you could they would look silly as an accent in your house with the snow falling outside.  It would however make you think of summer, only to be brought back to the cold reality.  The winter sunflower is a tease.
