Tears

Eye colour really stands out beneath sadness.  So raw is the emotion that it is beautiful seeing a really physically strong group of teammates, shed tears after a well fought season.  The tears were of disappointment, sadness and exhaustion and reminded us all that sometimes despite your best efforts you lose. You brush yourself off and try again.  I’m not sure who sung that but, so true today.
