Who invented the frisbee?  I think like most things it was discovered by fluke.  Someone threw a paper plate or something at a picnic and the game caught on.  Now there is Ultimate and Flof (Disc Golf), both other games adapted to be played with the flying disc, thus even more invention and innovation
